In Der Planer 4 the player takes the role of the manager of a forwarding agency. The menu of the game is presented as a office room and the player reaches all important screens by clicking on the corresponding item. Just like in reality a huge part of the game is the handling of paperwork: everything from advertisements, official documents to inquires from customers lands on the player's desk. He has to distinguish the junk from the important ones and respond to them accordingly.
