You can drive the train from the same perspective as the driver. You can enjoy driving from the same point of view as the driver.The sounds emitted from the trains and tracks in the simulator are recorded by JR East using actual trains, so you can experience the realistic running sounds that a driver would feel comfortable driving.The instrument panel displays the speedometer and other data just like the actual vehicle, and operates faithfully according to driving operations, speed, etc. The sound and instrument panel display will switch to that of the vehicle when the type of vehicle being experienced is changed.

Since the last archive I was able to get all the updates ; thanks for the great work of ghostrager1990. There is a 'crack' folder included in which you will find 3 different cracks (Credit and thanks to emoris), test them and choose the one that suits you best.
A 'tools' folder has also been included in which you will find the official game manuals in English/Japanese, the more complete unofficial manuals in English/French but which hasn't been updated for a few months (Credit and thanks to Cracrayol) as well as two small software to allow you to play with the Zuiki mascon controller (Credit and thanks to Karasugawa Sue & Cracrayol).
For your information, the complete simulator with all DLC videos requires 597 GB of disk space.
Install instructions for DLC (optional):
Unzip whichever movie files you downloaded and put them in this location:
\JR East Train Simulator\SimDATA\Movie\
DLC22 has no Movie (185 Series train is included in base game download)
DLC28 has no Movie (The E231 series, Suburban Type; is included in base game download)
DLC30 has no Movie (The 209-500 series is included in base game download)

version 11/22/25 cracks don't work : steaminternal_steamapi_init not found in jreast_trainsimulator.exe. Previous version does work

First crack does the steamapi not found thing. Other three : i see the game running in taskmanager but does not do anything (stays on windows desktop) running win11 24h2. Did not try other cracks on previous version because that one works with first crack

Would you be so kind as to test the other cracks as well? If they are all invisible too, then the release is broken (I will correct it then).

Hi, the three cracks for JR.East.Train.Simulator.b19807790.MULTi2-P2P (which is as far as I know the previous version) all work fine. All the cracks for current version either give me the steam_api not found error or running in taskmanager but not launching
