Port Royale: Gold, Power and Pirates

The Caribbean Sea in 1570. England, France, Spain and the Netherlands fight for leadership of the colonies in the New World. This is the setting for Port Royale: Gold, Power and Pirates, the unofficial sequel to Patrician II: Quest for Power. At the start of the game you have to choose your favorite nation. In one of their cities you begin your career with a little ship. At the beginning you have 19 goods you can trade. The prices change by offer and demand; after selling one type of good in a city, the price sinks. With enough money you can buy new ships or own plantations. With rising respectability among the population, you can lead up to 10 convoys with up to 100 ships.
