Tennis World Tour stellt als Sportsimulation große Ansprüche an die realistische Aufmachung, weshalb aufwendiges Motion Capturing eingesetzt wurde, um sämtliche Bewegungsabläufe und Ballwechsel flüssig und authentisch darzustellen. Um die Erfahrung für die Spieler so natürlich wie möglich zu gestalten, wurde das Motion Capturing auf einem echten Tennisplatz aufgezeichnet und nicht in einem Studio, wie oftmals üblich. Hierdurch hatten die Profis alle Freiheiten, den Ball so zu schlagen und sich so zu bewegen, wie sie es in einem echten Match auf einem echten Platz tun würden. Es enthält ein einzigartiges System zur Anpassung der eigenen Strategie während eines Matches.
