Ongakukan and JR East have teamed up to bring you a simulator that has a wealth of experience in train driving simulators. You can experience the professional simulator actually used by JR East drivers for training at home.FeatureHigh-definition images of JR East's train lines are captured in live-action. You can drive the train from the same perspective as the driver. You can enjoy driving from the same point of view as the driver. The sounds emitted from the trains and tracks in the simulator are recorded by JR East using actual trains, so you can experience the realistic running sounds that a driver would feel comfortable driving. The instrument panel displays the speedometer and other data just like the actual vehicle, and operates faithfully according to driving operations, speed, etc. The sound and instrument panel display will switch to that of the vehicle when the type of vehicle being experienced is changed.

Install instructions:
The base game package is portable, no actual installation is needed - and the crack is already pre-installed.
Unzip the base game 7zip archive (Password is the usual one, see FAQ) and move the "JR EAST Train Simulator" folder to wherever you want to run the game from. Start the game with "JREAST_TrainSimulator.exe" (or create a desktop shortcut to it).
You must also unzip whichever movie files (see DLC below) you downloaded and put them in this location:
\JR East Train Simulator\SimDATA\Movie\
Operating manuals (both Japanese and English) are also included in the game root folder. If you are online while game is running you can also get a live download of the latest manual with the [J] or [E] options on the main menu.
Extra special thanks to [dzhi2006] for uploading and sharing most of the DLC and base game updates that went into this repack
Additional special thanks to [exodys] for the DLC 16 Oga Line.
Thanks to [Pegasus1010] for the June update of the Yamanote Line DLC
Also thanks to [homizuhara], [exodys], and [Arpadiam] for providing some of the older DLC and other game components, thanks also to [Seeburschbanause] for fixing a problem with the crack that previously caused an error message and faulty menu buttons, and finally thanks to [jojo670] for collating a lot of the SimData DLC updates and checking that things work as they should.
