just wait 7-10 mins seems to be a problem even on steam .... its apperently compiling the shader and that can take a while ... some others said just alt + F4 and try again

Release works for me, so maybe it's hardware specific?

Yeah did you guys found a Fix??, Game starts, closes after 5 Seconds....

Same here. I7 8700k and rtx 2600 super. No expert here. Maybe a setting in bios could change it

so in windows event viewer it shows an application error with MGSDelta-Win64-Shipping.exe.
maybe this info can help. blocked every .exe files in the firewall. try without inet connection, deinstalled and installed again nothing helped.

Mein Test: Das Spiel startet, ist spielbar und lässt sich auf Deutsch(text) stellen; beim allerersten Start kann der Initial-Ladevorgang etwa 2–5 Minuten dauern, was normal ist und nach der Laufzeit-Initialisierung verschwindet.
Wichtig: Im Installer die mitgelieferten Runtimes (z. B. Visual C++/DirectX) unbedingt mitinstallieren, dann den Spieleordner in Windows 10/11 als Ausnahme im Defender/Antivirus hinzufügen und einmal als Administrator starten.

Tested: The game launches, is fully playable, and can be set to German(text); note that the very first boot may take about 2–5 minutes due to initial runtime setup, which is normal.
